I’ve begun to think a lot about the friendships I have made in the last four years. The ones I’ve made on campus and off campus. I think about the moments we’ve had together and the connections we’ve made as we’ve spent time together. One of the things I find myself thinking constantly about is how lucky I am to have found such wonderful people to call my friends. I’ve never been good at making such, and to have them in my life is a gift.

When the time came for spring break, a small group of friends and I decided to take a trip together to Puerto Rico. After two long months of planning, we all went and had a memorable time there. We’ve travelled all around, bathed in the sun and water, and enjoyed a week off in the Caribbean. Every moment was a memory, and I managed to capture moments together. I'm not sure if it'll be the last time we do a trip like this, but it will be the last time we do this as part of a break from school.

I feel that moments such as this seem so little, and the moments we do seem to slip away from memory with time. We want to hold a record of them and be reminded of them as well. It’s those recorded moments that give joy to an experience. Memories caught for us to be reminded of what’s important in life.

To not take life too seriously, to always take time off from the real world and to always make time for those you really care about.

And most of all, to have fun!
